What it is

Hydrolysed Collagen Peptides are low-molecular-weight bioactive peptides (2,000–5,000 Daltons) produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of native Type I and III bovine or avian collagen. Rich in glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline, these short di- and tri-peptides (such as Proline-Hydroxyproline, Pro-Hyp) are rapidly absorbed across the intestinal wall intact. Once in circulation, they deposit in extracellular matrix tissues, stimulating dermal fibroblasts to synthesize new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid for skin, hair, nail, and joint resilience.
